Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 Hitting Europe Jan. 8

Samsung launched the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 2016 editions last week, but the company was not specific on when the devices would be released. The South Korean giant said China would get the handsets first during this month, with other markets to follow in January. Now a leak has revealed the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A3 will land in Europe.

And just like that we have three new Samsung Galaxy handsets. Have weeks of rumors and leaks the South Korean giant has unveiled the new Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 2016 editions, which will tackle the budget and mid-range markets. Of course, this is how Samsung rolls, sending out devices in rapid first fashion, although we are still waiting on a sequel to the Galaxy A8 and a rumored Galaxy A9.

Samsung is issuing an update for some versions of its Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphones, with both of the company's current flagships receiving some performance tweaks. Of course, these handsets are still awaiting the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but for the time being Samsung's own software enhancements will be rolled out.

A couple of days after doing the rounds at TENAA, the 2015 Samsung Galaxy A7 has been passed by the FCC, meaning it is clear to launch in the United States. With the handset passing the two regulatory bodies it is all but certain that Samsung is going to unveil the device soon. Indeed, a December 1st launch date has already been rumored and we would not be surprised.

This is a brand new version in the range, although it is unclear whether this is a replacement for the Galaxy A8 or if it is merely going to become a stable mate for that handset.
