HTC One M8 Google Play Edition Receiving Android 6.0 Now
By Pablo Jimenez on Friday November 06, 2015

While we are still awaiting HTC's Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout for its handsets (aside for the One A9 that ships with the platform), the company's Google Play Edition One M8 is receiving the upgrade now. This marks the first HTC device already on the market to get the latest version of Google's OS, and it is an obvious choice.

HTC Slashes Price of Nexus 9 Tablet
By Ang Torres on Tuesday November 03, 2015

Did you buy a HTC Nexus 9? Probably not, but then not many did. That is actually a shame as it was one of the very best tablets ever made... it just worked on all levels. Considering the Nexus 9 is still barely a year old, it still represents a great buy for those wanting a powerhouse slate, especially now that HTC has reduced the price right down.

HTC One goes up against BlackBerry Priv with Friday Launch on AT&T
By Josh Dasey on Monday November 02, 2015

The HTC One A9, a handset we have pretty much slammed on these pages, will be coming to AT&T in the United States on Friday. The Taiwanese company's newest flagship will be making its debut on November 6, and actually this shows a lack of marketing nous by HTC.

HTC Posts Dire Q3 Financials, No Light at the End of the Tunnel
By Pablo Jimenez on Friday October 30, 2015

HTC has announced its third quarter financial report, and as you can probably guess, it is not good news for the struggling Taiwanese brand. Things have been getting progressively worse for HTC through the course of this year, even so bad as for the company's stock to crumble and it to lose virtually all of its brand value.

HTC One M8 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Receives Bluetooth Certification
By Pablo Jimenez on Friday October 30, 2015

HTC said that is flagship devices like the One A9, One M9, and One M8 will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow within three months after the platform launched earlier this month. That means those handsets should be getting the update sometime in January, and that seems to be the case with the One M8 as the Marshmallow software for that handset received certification for Bluetooth SIG recently.

HTC Baffles with Launch of One M9e
By Pablo Jimenez on Wednesday October 28, 2015

What is HTC doing? The company has just launched another high end smartphone a week after the One A9, and this not a fresh handset either, it is another One M9 variant for the Chinese market. We have truly lost count of how many M9 handsets there are, so much so that we are sure the E9 already exists. Quick research says it hasn't, but it really highlights how diluted HTC's flagship output had become, a sad time for the company.

By Micah Bartos on Wednesday October 28, 2015

It seems that HTC's new "flagship" One A9 will be available across the four major carriers in the United States. The device was already confirmed for AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile and now Verizon has stated that it will be carrying the new smartphone too.

By Pablo Jimenez on Tuesday October 27, 2015

If you want to grab the HTC One A9 at its introductory price of $399.99 (directly from the company) then you will need to be quick. That's because the price will apparently go up a full $100 to $499.99 by November 7, which is eleven days away.

Up Close with the HTC One A9
By Luke Jones on Friday October 23, 2015

Earlier in the year the HTC One A9, which was launched by the Taiwanese company this week, was known as Aero and it was widely billed as HTC's next coming. A device that would reposition the company as a force in the smartphone market, much like the One M7 had two years prior, a hero device. However, as the year wore on it become more apparent that the Aero would probably not live up to those giddy expectations.

HTC One A9 Coming with $690 Price Tag?
By Ang Torres on Wednesday October 14, 2015

The HTC One A9 is going to be launched in one week's time and the more we hear about this smartphone the more worried we are. What was first leaked as a bleeding edge handset has since become (via benchmark results) a clear mid-ranger, which in itself is reasonable, even if we do expect more from HTC. The latest news regarding the cost of the One A9 means we are outright concerned about what HTC is playing at.
