Apple Leaks iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2
By Luke Jones on Wednesday October 15, 2014

Google is getting all the limelight today after announcing the Nexus 6 smartphone and the Nexus 9 tablet, but the spotlight will shift off Mountain View very quickly. In fact, tomorrow all eyes will be on Apple is it launches its new iPads, sadly making the Nexus devices quite literally yesterday's news. However, it seems Apple didn't even want to wait a day as the company has "accidentally" leaked the new iPad Air 2 and a new iPad Mini today.

By Luke Jones on Wednesday October 08, 2014

Just over a month after the biggest smartphone launch in history, Apple is ready to do it all again, this time with tablets. The company has confirmed that it is holding a press event on October 16th (next Thursday) to launch the new iPad range and some new Mac products. This event will admittedly be lower key that Cupertino's iPhone 6 extravaganza, but it could also be a lot busier.

By Luke Jones on Tuesday October 07, 2014

A day ago I wrote that news surrounding the oft rumoured iPad Pro was pretty thin on the ground, but ironically today a batch of info arrived courtesy of Digitimes. According to the report, Apple is working on not just one, but two iPad Pro devices and one of them will run both iOS and Mac OS X.

The iPad Air 2 gets a substantial leak
By Luke Jones on Monday October 06, 2014

It is almost certain that Apple will roll out a new iPad during the month, but details around Cupertino's new slate/s have been thin on the ground. Until now that is, as a major leak has laid bare some of the finer details of the iPad Air 2 and a new iPad Mini, although the much rumoured iPad Pro is still proving elusive.

Apple to launch new iPads on October 16th
By Luke Jones on Friday October 03, 2014

Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus media event was the biggest launch of the year, and it even had a little watch too. The roll out of the smartphones has gone well (ahem, bendgate aside) as the handsets have romped to massive sales. However, the fact that these devices and the launch would be a success was a given, as close to a certainty as you can get in this industry. However, Cupertino faces a shakier launch when it rolls out the new iPads.

Apple to offer a gold colored iPad
By Luke Jones on Wednesday October 01, 2014

I suppose we can look back on the Apple iPhone 5s and see it as an innovative device. It arrived with a 64-bit processer, something Android is still yet to do consistently and it also featured a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, tech that rivals have not quite matched in terms of quality. Oh yes, the iPhone 6 also came in a gold hue, a color that has been copied by just about every major rival since. It is a small innovation, but hey, Apple started the gold trend people.

The new iPads will land October 21st
By Luke Jones on Tuesday September 23, 2014

The last couple of weeks have been dominated by Apple and the iPhone 6, with even devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 taking a back seat. If you thought the Cupertino hype machine would die down now and let others take the spotlight you should think again. Apple of course has another all-conquering product in its arsenal and a new one is due to land in October, so let it all start again.

Tim Cook expects iPad growth
By Luke Jones on Wednesday August 27, 2014

Apple recorded some pretty stellar financial results last month when the company revealed that record amounts of iPhones had been sold, while Cupertino's Mac business grew too. With profit and revenue soaring, it is easy to focus on what's going right over at Apple, but we also shouldn't ignore what is going wrong. Talking about the iPad at the moment is addressing the elephant in the room at Apple.

Apple to put 2GB of RAM inside the iPad Air 2
By admin on Wednesday August 20, 2014

Apple has always done a decent job of defying the ethos that says more RAM and higher numbered specs are better. For example, the iPad Air has just 1GB of RAM, while even basic Android slates pack at least 2GB. However, you would not notice a difference between the performance on the Air or on a high end Android tablet, such is the solid performance of Apple's product.
