Amazon App Sale Continues, $110 worth of Apps for Free

We told you yesterday that the Amazon AppStore was worth downloading to your Android device because the company has a load of sales throughout the year. Yesterday the company slashed the price on a number of apps and it was a one day deal. If you missed out Amazon has you covered for the next two days because the sale has been extended until January 2nd.

An apparent Samsung rep using Reddit leaked an email that confirms that early 2015 will be when Samsung pushes out Android 5.0 Lollipop to its core smartphones. The users who posted the email is apparently a Samsung rep and is verified by moderators on Reddit, neither of which actually mean a lot.

Full access via the internet has been blocked directly to Gmail since June, but China has now also blocked access through IMAP, POP4, and SMTP.

A number of Nokia's (now Microsoft's) Lumia handsets are getting the bump to the new Lumia Denim software in Malaysia. The handsets in question are the Nokia Lumia 525, Nokia Lumia 720, and Nokia Lumia 620, and all are now receiving the build number 8.10.14219.341 of Denim. The update is arriving OTA and I presume this means it is ready to sweep worldwide.
