Cool infographic shows every facet of the iPhone 6 production
By Luke Jones on Wednesday September 17, 2014

We have been sent this fantastic infographic by CompareCamp.com that breaks down the entire iPhone 6 manufacturing process and shows why and how Apple build its all-conquering flagship. It is no surprise to see that the focus of production is on China, but while many thinks that is because of labour costs and cost effective measures, that is not necessarily the case.

Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus review roundup
By Luke Jones on Wednesday September 17, 2014

Quelle surprise, everybody likes the new iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Hardly shocking stuff as Apple could put out a feature phone with and i on the front of the name and win rave reviews (the general consensus so far has been 90%, 9 out of 10, that kind of stuff). The early reviews for Apple's new flagship devices are in and the general word is that both are very good handsets, with the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 apparently a better choice than the iPhone 6 Plus.

4 million iPhone 6 units sold, the Plus could be more popular

Apple, rivals, and consumers all knew that the iPhone 6 launch would be huge and would likely crush all previous records. It has proven the case as Cupertino has released its figures for the pre-order stage of the iPhone 6 roll out (the device ships from September 18th) and the numbers are indeed huge. However, there is a trend that points to the larger iPhone 6 being more popular.

Apple now lets you delete the U2 plague
By Luke Jones on Monday September 15, 2014

And there was me thinking everyone was a U2 fan. Bono and his cohorts have invaded a great many people's iTunes accounts since Apple launched the iPhone 6 and it seems that consumers are not pleased. It turns out most people do not want free stuff when they are forced to have that free stuff as they have reacted angrily to U2's new album simply appearing in their libraries.

The biggest launch in smartphone history? Oh, that would be the current roll out of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple's latest and I presume greatest flagships. Expect sales records to tumble as rabid Apple fans tear themselves to pieces to get an iPhone, with millions upon millions expected to sell this weekend. The launch has actually been fraught with problems though, but despite that, both the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus are already selling out.

The good, the bad, and the ugly: the inconvenient truth about the iPhone 6
By admin on Wednesday September 10, 2014

Apple launched the iPhone 6 yesterday in what was a very successful and warmly received media event for the company. The device is very good, easily the best Apple has made so far and has plenty going for it in almost every regard. However, that does not mean there are no problems and after getting to know the iPhone 6 a little better we can offer a clearer impression.

It didn't come as a surprise but there were still gasps of excitement when Apple launched the Apple Watch at its event in Cupertino today. Yes, the smartwatch is not called the iWatch at all, but the Apple Watch is the company's first wearable and on the surface at least its software does set a new bar in this growing market, although the design may be a little more dividing. Let's take a look at this device in depth, but needless to say, without doing a full review everything you see here is based on first impressions and are certainly subject to change.

The iPhone 6 Plus is Apple?s true large screen device
By Luke Jones on Tuesday September 09, 2014

Yes, the iPhone 6 is the smartphone that will drive Apple's growth through this generation, but the company also added a new handset category by unveiling the iPhone 6 Plus. It is hardly a secret that Cupertino would be launching a large screen Phablet variant, but now it is in the flesh it is easier to see if the iPhone 6 Plus will be able to give large screen Android heavyweights a run for their money.

Up close and personal with the iPhone 6

In probably the biggest tech launch of the year, Apple has rolled out the new iPhone 6, the company's new flagship device that comes with a larger 4.7-inch screen. Cupertino started the show by eschewing the usual boasts as Apple CEO Tim Cook said there was too much to go through in terms of launches, so he just said that in terms of the company "everything is fine".
