Metal Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Certified in China

Chinese companies are revamping their mid-range line ups by making their handsets metal. Meizu was first out of the blocks with the M2 Blue Charm Metal, while LeTV launched the metal Le 1s this week. Next up is Xiaomi, the leading smartphone manufacturer in China, with a metal variant of its Redmi Note 2.

It seems that HTC's new "flagship" One A9 will be available across the four major carriers in the United States. The device was already confirmed for AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile and now Verizon has stated that it will be carrying the new smartphone too.

We know the Mate 8 will probably be flagship quality because Huawei is advertising it as the device that will carry the company's new Kirin 950 chipset.
