Motorola Launches Verizon Exclusive DROID Turbo 2: Up Close

Motorola has shown this year that it can do a bona fide flagship very well; the Moto X Pure Edition is spiffing, and we knew that was the basis for the DROID Turbo 2. Huawei has a new smartphone launching on November 3rd, the Glory Play 5X, and the Chinese company has now opened pre-orders for that handset. The device is available through online retailers in China, namely VMall and TMall.

While there has been no official confirmation, Samsung is probably working on sequels to its Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7 smartphones, a pair of devices nearing a year old. The specs for the two handsets have been leaked as they passed through benchmarking software GFXBench, and as we expected the sequels will be merely incremental in what new stuff they bring to the table.

Two New ZTE Nubia Z9 Variants Landing October 29

Chinese giant ZTE is going to announce two new smartphones on October 29th, and those handsets are expected to be the Nubia Z9 Max Elite and the Nubia Z9 Mini Elite. Both devices will be sequels to their current namesakes and will update the Nubia Z9 range, while as the names suggest, the Max is a larger version of the Nubia Z9 proper and the Mini is a smaller variant of the flagship.
