HTC One X9, the Hero Device we Deserve?

We have been pretty critical about HTC on these pages regarding two things, the company bombarding the market with high end smartphones, and the One A9 that was billed as a flagship but simply isn't one. It is an interesting position the company is in, not wanting to flood the market further, but also knowing that the A9 is simply not a competitor against similarly priced handsets.

Samsung is going after Apple in Russia by offering a deal that makes it more affordable to get the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. The Korean giant says that a trade in of the Apple iPhone 5 of iPhone 5s (both older devices) will get you a certificate that slashes the price of its two latest flagships.

ASUS Launches ZenFone 2 Deluxe Edition in the U.S.

The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Edition has been unveiled for the United States market, and will be available on both AT&T and T-Mobile. This is a supped up version of ASUS' fantastic ZenFone 2, a handset that comes in numerous variants, all of which are quality.

HTC One M8 Google Play Edition Receiving Android 6.0 Now

Xiaomi Mi 5 to Launch Next Month with Snapdragon 820 Processor

We know by now that Xiaomi is holding off launching its Mi 5 flagship as the company awaits the launch of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It has been a long wait too as the Mi 4 is looking a little long in the tooth and is already over a year old. There is some light at the end of the tunnel for Xiaomi fans though as a report today suggests that the Mi 5 will launch on December 3.

Oppo A53 Makes its Way through TENAA

The A53 has now passed through TENAA, the Chinese regulatory body that certifies products for sale in China.
