The Samsung Galaxy S7 is gearing up for its big launch, likely to happen at the company's pre-MWC press event in Barcelona at the end of February. Of course, leaks have been plentiful regarding the upcoming flagship, but now the benchmarks are trickling in and revealing the specs of the Galaxy S7. As expected, it?s a cutting edge handset. The European variant of the soon to be launched smartphone has just passed through benchmark software Geekbench, revealing its Exynos 8890 processor. That is Samsung's latest, and likely to be blazing fast, CPU, although the Galaxy S7 is also rumored to be launching with a variant packing Qualcomm?s Snapdragon 820. Other specs will include a Quad HD screen, 4GB of RAM, and a 12 megapixel rear camera. That snapper is smaller than the 16MP module found in the Galaxy S6, but megapixels are not everything and the improved larger sensors on the Galaxy S7 should provide an improved experience over what was already among the best smartphone shooters on the market.
