As with many new smartphones, the Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X arrived with a few teething problems. Namely, the two (otherwise fantastic) handsets have suffered issues with washed out screens, according to some users. Considering that the smartphones are made by two different companies, this problem has been attributed to Google's software. As is usually the case, Mountain View has acted quickly and is preparing an update that will fix the screen problems on its two stock Android handsets. Google identified the problem and fixed it, the company now just needs to send out the patch. That should happen in the coming days and the result should be the screen producing more accurate colors. If you see a prompt on your Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X, drop us a message so we can pass on the good news.
