LG has revealed a new smartphone that will be launched in Latin America and Commonwealth of Independent States countries, it is called the LG Ray.This is a modest handset that is made of plastic, but sort of has a slick metal look. In terms of specs there is a 5.5-inch 720p screen, an unnamed octa-core processor, 1GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, 16GB of native storage, a micro SD card support, a 3,000mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear camera, and an 8 megapixel front facing lens. The price or launch date have not been revealed, but we expect the Ray to be affordable and to land before the Christmas season. Interestingly, LG is marketing this as slim and metallic, even though the Ray is 9.8mm thick and made of plastic.
