We like the idea of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is a nice looking smartwatch and it is one of those rare Android Wear products, one that comes with a unique standout feature. It is the first to come with LTE connectivity to allow it to take calls directly from the device without a need for smartphone connection. However, it seems as though there is a significant problem with the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE as LG says it is stopping sales of the product effective immediately. The company identified an unspecified "hardware issue which affects the day-to-day functionality" although some devices have already been sold through U.S. carrier AT&T. It is unclear whether those wearables will be recalled or whether LG is launching a repair or replacement program. Verizon was meant to launch the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE today, but that roll out has been halted while on AT&T the smartwatch is listed as sold out. It is good that LG is acting decisively on this and we expect the device will be back on the market eventually. If you have already bought LG's latest then we would love to know how it is working out for you, and if you are experiencing any issues.
