The Gionee Elife S6 has not been officially announced yet, but the handset has been leaked today, showing the smartphone in all its glory. As for when the Elife S6 will launch? It is expected to be unveiled by Gionee on November 16th, which is next Monday at the time of writing. We know already that the company is going to pack the Elife S6 with solid mid-range specs, which will include a large 5.5-inch 720p screen. The processor will be a MT6753 SoC from MediaTek, providing an octa-core 1.3GHz CPU. There will be two variants of the handset, a 16GB version with 2GB of RAM, and a 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM. Both variants will sport a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front facing lens, a whopping 3150mAh battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. At 6.9mm thin, this will be a svelte phablet and with a metal design is likely to be a stylish choice too. The Gionee Elife is rumored to cost the equivalent of $282, which is an enticing price whatever way we look at it. By the way, do not expect this to be coming to the United States.
