Facebook made the decision to transition to a mobile focused company and since then has continued to grow that side of the business. Through the third quarter of 2015 Facebook's mobile ambitions continued to bear fruit as the company revealed 78% of its revenue through advertising came from mobile.Over the three month period running June 1 to September 30 Facebook brought in $3.4 billion in mobile advertising revenue, while advertising as a whole brought in $4.3 billion. PC advertising decreased by 7.3% and mobile grew to 73%. The company says average U.S. adult spends 25 minutes a week on their mobile device and Facebook takes up 20% of that time.
