ASUS has announced a new version of its ZenPhone 2 series of excellent smartphones in the United States, and this is an even more affordable version with more modest specs. The ZenPhone 2 Laser has been available in India for some time, but is now making its debut in the U.S. for an off contract price of just $199.For that price you are getting plenty of smartphone for two Benjamin's. The ZenFone 2 Laser comes with a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, a Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB storage options, a micro SD card slot, dual SIM capabilities, and an ample 3000mAh battery pack. Around the back of the ZenFone 2 Laser there is a 13 megapixel snapper, with an F/2.0, 5-element lens and is aided by a dual LED flash. This device is the real deal folks, a bona fide bargain when we consider the specs and general quality against more expensive models.
