Samsung's budget Galaxy J3 smartphone (SM-J3109) has passed through the FCC for sales in the United States. We have been hearing about this handset for some time, but Samsung has yet to confirm the release of the Galaxy J3. The listing at the FCC reveals that the handset has LTE, 3G, and Wi-Fi connectivity. In terms of specs, the Galaxy J3 comes with a 5-inch screen with 720p HD resolution, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of native storage, micro SD card support, an 8 megapixel primary camera, and a 5 megapixel front facing lens. Software is taken care of by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and we imagine this device is a shoe in to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Samsung Galaxy J3 has not been priced just yet, we will have to wait for an official announcement for that information, including the launch date.
