Windows 10 Mobile is still not available in its full finished version, but the beta version of the software is already making its presence felt on Windows smartphones. Windows 10 has already swept through the PC market, but Microsoft has been taking a slower approach with its Mobile software.

AdDuplex has shown data that reveals how much certain Windows Phone builds are the most popular. The big news is that Windows 10 Mobile, still only out there in beta form, is already running on some 5.7% of all handsets on the platform, which translates to about 3 million units.

It is hardly a surprise to see Windows Phone 8.1 roaring out in front with 79.3%, and it will take some time for Windows 10 to match that through adoption. It will happen though, it is just a question of when.
