Rumors persistently abound that BlackBerry will stop making smartphones soon, but while that is unclear there are some people who will not be getting new handsets from the company. J.P. Morgan reports that its employees will no longer be handed free BlackBerry smartphone, starting in 2016 they will be forced to buy their own.Oh those poor souls. Right, we get it, but the company says it will save tens of millions of dollars each year, which ultimately means that BlackBerry will lose a chunk of that business. J.P. Morgan says employees who want a company BlackBerry can still get one on a monthly data plan, although the company?s email portal will no longer be available on BB handsets.
