HTC has revealed some of its devices that will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and LG has confirmed two of its flagships will definitely be getting the upgrade. Now it is the turn of Sony and the Japanese company has released its Android 6.0 roadmap showing all of the smartphones that will be getting the new software from Google.There are a lot of devices on the list too, and it is also a complete list. That means barring any new handsets launching these are all the Sony Xperia devices that will be treated to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Of course, the new flagship range is included, the Xperia Z5 and its beefier stable mate the Xperia Z5 Premium among them. Sony Xperia Z5 Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Sony Xperia Z3+ (And Xperia Z4, we assume) Sony Xperia Z3 Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Sony Xperia Z2 Sony Xperia M5 Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Sony Xperia C4 The company says some other smartphones are all but guaranteed to get the Marshmallow update even if they are not confirmed yet, those are the: Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet The only really caveat here is that Sony has not said when the updates will be issued, although we imagine the newer flagships will be getting Marshmallow early in 2016, with the other handsets receiving the updates through the first half of the year.
