Android 5.0 Lollipop may be about to become old school with the launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow in November, but the current build of Google's OS is going out in style. There are still plenty of devices getting the bump to Lollipop, which will only bump up the platforms coverage among all Android products. Two of those devices, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, are getting their Lollipop upgrade now. Both of the slates will be getting updated to Android 5.1.1, which will be the first time these device has been on the build as they previously run Android 4.4 KitKat. With the update comes plenty of new features that Lollipop brings and the update is available from the largest carrier in the United States via an OTA patch in the coming days. Alternatively you can hook up with the update manually by heading to Settings>About device>Software Updates on either of those products.
