The LG G4 is already midway through its life cycle which inevitably means reports about its replacement are starting to creep out. That's hardly a surprise actually as LG is already deep into the development process for its next flagship and we are really hoping for a lot from this device. If the G4 was an evolutionary step from the G3 that was good and checked all the right boxes, the G5 probably needs to be another tour de force. The high end market is very competitive and LG will need another statement making smartphone to stay in the mix. A new rumor says that the G4 will come Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor, which makes sense as the smartphone will be released after the chipset. LG opted for the Snapdragon 808 instead of the troubled Snapdragon 810 with the G4, but this time opting for the flagship processor seems more likely as Qualcomm has probably ended its problems. The G5 will also come with a 20 megapixel camera made by Sony, which will be a 4 megapixel bump over the 16MP shooter in the G4. Of course, all the rumors at this stage should be taken with a pinch of salt, after-all the LG G5 is probably seven months away from being launched.
