Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 flagship processor is not quite with us yet, but the company confirmed it sometime ago and it promises to be the best chipset the processor market leader has ever made. It will certainly be a contrast to the troubled Snapdragon 810 and Qualcomm is now showing off another new feature that will be rolled out with the 820, namely Quick Charge 3.0.Essentially this feature means you can charge your Snapdragon 820 powered device (likely to be a flagship smartphone or tablet) very quickly. In fact, Qualcomm says Quick Charge 3.0 will charge 27% faster than its predecessor Quick Charge 2.0. That means a charge from 0% to 80% in a paltry 35 minutes. The new release will also be 38% more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0. While the feature will be making its debut with the Snapdragon 820, Quick Charge 3.0 will also land on devices rocking the Snapdragon 620, 618, 617, and 430.
