A render of Xiaomi's upcoming Mi Note 2 has been found on Chinese social media giant Weibo, showing a very interesting smartphone. The render points to ultra-thin landscape bezels and a physical home button that we presume will perform double duties as a fingerprint scanner. Although, while those thin bezels are interesting we think the Mi Note 2 will arrive with thicker strips down the side. You may remember that renders of Huawei's P8 revealed bezels similar to the render here, but on the device there is a black strip separating the screen from the edge. We Suspect that will be the case with Xiaomi's handset, but if not we will be very happy indeed. The Mi Note 2 will have a 5.7-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 Quad HD screen, Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 23 megapixel primary camera, and a 12 megapixel front facing lens. There will also be a huge 3500mAh battery, Qualcomm's Quick Charge, Android 5.1 Lollipop, and Xiaomi's own MIUI 7 over the top.
