The recently announced Oppo R7 is now available for pre-order and will be shipping at the end of September. The Chinese company's latest high end device can now be pre-ordered through the Oppostyle online store and will come at a price of $499.
In fact, the designs here are striking, with metal unibody construction, contoured edges, and in the case of the R7 Plus there is a near screen to bezel design. Both devices sport Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipsets, and both are supplemented with 3GB of RAM. The pair have 1080p Full HD screens (5-inch for the R7 and 6-inch for the R7 Plus), 13 megapixel F2.2 rear snappers, and 8 megapixel selfie lenses on the front. The Plus also gets some extra goodies, such as a fingerprint scanner, and a beastly 4,100 mAh battery compared to a 2,320 mAh juicer on the R7. The two smartphones are already available for pre-order now, with the R7 costing the same as $400 and the Oppo R7 Plus costing the equivalent of $480. Not bad prices at all considering what's on offer, but the devices are already sold out and we would not expect them to launch in Europe or the United States.
