This is the week of companies overhauling their logos. Meizu got the ball rolling with its new design, while Google followed suit yesterday with a change of all its logos and icons, and now it is the turn of United States carrier Verizon. The largest network in the USA, Big Red has removed the giant red Z that used to add some color to the company's logo and has replaced it with the word Verizon in good old block black. The check mark has now been resized and moved to the end of the company name instead of flying over the top of the word. As we know, Verizon is logo happy on its smartphones, letting people know just what carrier is providing the network, so at least now users will have some new to look at.
