Lenovo has unveiled a smartphone at the IFA trade show that sports dual cameras on the front facing (screen) side of the handset. The device is the Vibe S1, a high end smartphone that Lenovo is clearly pushing as something of a selfie enthusiasts dream.Those front facing lenses are clearly the talking points here and combine as an 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel double hit of camera tech ready to snap your smiling face. The 8 megapixel lens will serve as the main camera on the front of the Vibe S1, while the 2MP lens will be used to add depth to an image. The specs show the Vibe S1 to be an appealing high end handset: Android 5.0 Lollipop 7.8mm thickness, 4.66oz (132g) weight 5.0-inch display with a 1080 x 1920-pixel resolution (Full HD) Octa-core MediaTek 3GB of RAM 32GB of internal storage, expandable via up to 128GB microSD cards 13-megapixel BSI rear camera 4G LTE connectivity The handset will arrive in various markets (not the United States) in the coming months and carries a retail price of $299.
