Huawei has officially unveiled the Mate S high end smartphone at its live event at the IFA trade show in Berlin. This handset slots nicely between the flagship P8/P8 Max and the mid-range Honor 7 and comes with some very appealing specs, a winning design, and if Huawei sticks to form an enticing price tag.The Mate S comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display that features the brand new Force Touch technology for displays. Other specs include Huawei?s own Kirin 935 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera, an 8 megapixel front facing lens, 32GB and 64GB storage variants, fingerprint scanner, and a winning all-metal body that keeps screen to body ratio low. Huawei has said the Mate S will be arriving in Asia, Africa, and Europe, with the device landing in 30 countries when it lands on September 15. The 32GB variant will cost 649 euros, while the 64GB version will set you back 699 euros. We will be bringing you our first impressions of this handset when we get our hands on it at IFA.
