A leaked poster shows that Sony is beefing up its Xperia Z flagship range with three new smartphones. Over the last few years the Z flagship has been accompanied by a Compact version, and again that will be the case with the Xperia Z5. So we know a Z5 Compact will land alongside the Xperia Z5 proper at IFA this week, but this poster reveals there will also be an Xperia Z5 Premium launched. That means there will be three tiers on Sony's smartphone, although there will be only minor details separating the handsets. Size is certain to be on thing, with the Compact smaller than the Z5 and Z5 Premium. The Xperia Z5 Compact will also have a 720p screen, while the Xperia Z5 will have a 1080p panel, and the Xperia Z5 Premium a Quad HD display. All will probably come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (we will have to wait for the Xperia Z6 to see the Snapdragon 820), 3GB of RAM on the Compact and Xperia Z5, and 4GB of RAM on the Z5 Premium. All three smartphones will come with flagship Sony camera lenses as the company leads the market in the smartphone shooter market.
