The HTC Desire 626 is unlikely to turn the company's fortunes around, especially with its very modest specs. The handset is relatively affordable and good-looking though and is now making its debut on Verizon and will cost a rather reasonable $192 unlocked from Big Red.The largest carrier in the United States says you can cough up that $192 in a single payment, or 24 monthly payments of $8. Okay, that?s not a bad price all in all, but don't be too pleased because even though the Desire 626 carries HTC's usual good looks it is under spec'd compared to other handsets in this price category. The 2015 Motorola Moto G springs to mind, and is so much better than the Desire in terms of hardware on offer.
The 626 feature 5-inch screen with 720p resolution and has a nice HTC design, which is quite fetching and pure modern HTC. A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 purrs under the hood of the Desire 626, running at 1.1GHz. Elsewhere there is Android 5.1 with HTC Sense 7 over the top, and the color choices of Marshmallow White, Gray Lava, Blue Lagoon, Marine White, and White Birch.
