Sony is expected to announce its new flagship line up during the IFA event Berlin during the first week of September, with the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact the handsets in question. Not much is known about those devices other than they will be Sony's new high end smartphones and will bring market leading specs to the flagship series.Today an image has shown reportedly revealing the back of the Xperia Z5 Compact and the photo in question certainly looks like the real deal. In fact it looks like a press image that Sony may have prepped for when the device is announced next month. This is reportedly going to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which gets us all kinds of curious. Other leaked images have shown that the power and volume buttons are in different places compared to older models thanks to that scanner. Over the last few years the Compact has been one of, if not the best smaller smartphone on the market. It made a mockery of "mini flagships" such as the Galaxy S5 Mini by offering truly high end specs in a premium design and with a small screen.
