With the August sun shining bright it is time to cast an eye to the IFA trade expo in Berlin, which is now just a month away. The event will get underway September 4 through September 9, so expect plenty of smartphone manufacturers to announce their events in the coming weeks. Sony for example already has, sending out invites for its September 2 launch event. As is usually the case, the keynotes will be dealt with before the actual IFA event gets underway, and Sony will be announcing its new products to the masses following that trend. Top of the wish list is the company's next fully fledged smartphone flagship. The Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+ felt like devices that were tiding Sony over until it could launch its true 2015 flagship, let?s hope we are right. That should be the Xperia Z5 and while we would love to see Sony takes its high end range in a new direction, it is unlikely the company will break from the incremental update cycle it has been in for three years. While the exact product line up is unknown, Sony Italy released an image showing a camera, smartphone, smartwatch, TV, and PS4 controller. We don't expect anything on the latter two, but a smartphone, wearable, and tablet seem likely.
