Motorola's original Moto G was such a triumphant blend of affordability and specs when it came to the company making a sequel (the 2014 Moto G) there was no need to change much. In fact, aside from a slightly slicker design and some minor spec changes, there is little to separate the first and second generation Moto G's. For the third edition (2015) Motorola may have to do a little more as there are now plenty of budget rivals out there. The American brand (now under Lenovo's ownership) will up the specs for the next model to make the Moto G the undisputed affordable choice once again. It seems this time the Moto G will pack 2GB of RAM, double the amount previous models have held, and will also have a 64-bit processor, but it is unclear which one (the Snapdragon 410 is most likely). The juiciest new rumor is that the handset is now in line to receive the Moto Maker treatment. Moto Maker is Motorola's suite where consumers can design and personalize their device before they buy it, receiving the finished product 4 days later. So far Moto Maker has been exclusive to Motorola's Moto X smartphone, but it seems the company is ready to spread Maker's wings to include the 2015 Moto G.
