T-Mobile continued to impress financially by adding over 1 million new postpaid subscribers through the last three month period, marking the fourth consecutive quarter in which the company has done so. The additions meant the Magenta Network notched an 11% gain year-on-year compared to the same time in 2014, while the company added 2.1 million new customers net through the second quarter of this year.

760,000 of those were postpaid phone subscribers, up 31% from the same time during last year. Branded postpaid numbers slipped however, from 1.46% last year to 1.3% this year, hardly a stat to worry T-Mobile however. CEO John Legere was in typically confident mood following the news:

"T-Mobile's momentum continued in full force for the second quarter, with 2.1 million customers voting in favor of the Un-carrier. Now we are doubling down again with Un-carrier Amped! Once again making it absolutely clear that... We Won't Stop!"-John Legere, CEO and President, T-Mobile

The Uncarrier movement has helped T-Mobile achieve 58.9 million customers in total across all fields, which is up a big 41% over how much the company had last year during Q2. As the financial news broke the company?s share rose 1.31%.
