There are not too many mainstream smartphones that offer the Ubuntu operating system, but Meizu offers on in the form of the MX4 Ubuntu Edition. The Chinese company created a specific Ubuntu variant of its MX4 handset and Meizu has said that it will be launching the device in Europe this month. In fact, you do not have to wait long as the MX4 Ubuntu Edition as it will be made available from June 25th, which is tomorrow. However, if you are an Ubuntu aficionado then you could still be disappointed as Meizu is only selling the device on an invite basis, with potential customers able to head to the source link and complete an origami wall. Once completed you may be in line to grab an invite, although the company did not say how invites will be handed out per day. The handset will cost 299 Euros when it launched tomorrow around Europe.
