LG has already confirmed that it will launch another flagship smartphone in 2015, one that will sit alongside the G4 as a large screen alternative. That is thought to be the G Pro 3, or the G4 Pro is LG wants to capitalize on its flagship range more. We know the handset will land sometime late in the third quarter, and here are some of the specs we can expect to see.The LG G4 Pro will pack a 5.8-inch screen with Quad HD resolution, while a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 will purr under the hood. That SoC will replace the ailing Snapdragon 810 sooner rather than later and LG could be the first to announce a smartphone with the chip. Ironically the company was the first to offer the 810 (in the G Flex 2) but could not have envisioned all the problems with overheating the processor brings. Qualcomm's next flagship chipset makes sense for the G4 Pro, and with 4GB of RAM it should be a flyer. Other specs include a 27 megapixel camera, an all-metal body (LG confirmed this), 8 megapixel front facing snapper, and a list of other latest and greatest hardware. The specs were reported on Chinese social network Weibo, so we would not say they are decided 100%, and indeed some of them come off as a wish list. Nevertheless, we expect the G4 Pro to be a beast either way.
