The Nokia Lumia 1020 is still arguably the best camera experience you can have on a smartphone, despite the fact the device is two years old. Built by Nokia, the follow up will be made by Microsoft after it bought the Finnish company's devices and services division. It now seems as though the follow up is close to being launched. That's the story according to Evan Blass, who many of you may remember as Evleaks, the notorious and accurate whistle blower who retired last year. Blass says that a sequel to the Lumia 1020 and even provided a blurred images of a camera module that looks a lot like the one on the older handset. With a 41-megapixel lens, the 1020 is still the smartphone camera with the highest MP count, something Microsoft could be tempted to better with any successor. Other than Blass offering the news that the Lumia 1020 exists there is little else known about this handset, so it really is a case of watching this space.
