If you had the LG G3 from launch, you may remember that the handset did not move past Android 4.4.2 KitKat while other rival flagships went to 4.4.3 or 4.4.4. Instead the G3 waited over six months before making the jump straight to Android Lollipop, and it seems LG will be doing the same with the handset this year.LG Hellas, the Greek division of the company, has suggested that the G3 will remain on Android 5.0, will miss out on Android 5.1 and later Lollipop builds, and move straight to Android M when it launches later in the year. Of course, the G3's replacement, the LG G4 is rolling out right now with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, a software build the G3 is now unlikely to see.
