ASUS has been teasing the ZenFone Selfie and the company launched the handset today at Computex in its home country of Taiwan. The Selfie follows in the footsteps of the ZenFone 2, one of the better mid-range devices on the market, and delivers the same kind of solid specs and presumably affordable price tag.We have seen a lot of Selfie oriented smartphones over the last year (the HTC Desire EYE) springs to mind, and while the handsets have quality front facing cameras, they are almost all just mid-range under the hood. The ASUS ZenFone Selfie comes with a Full HD 5.5-inch screen, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, 2GB of RAM, and 13 megapixel Toshiba made lenses on both the front and back, coming with laser autofocus, 88 degree field of view (up to 140 degrees in panorama mode). The handset will be shipping with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. In terms of aesthetic, the Selfie looks like a ZenFone 2 exactly, while it will be available in white, pink, aqua blue, black, gold, grey, and red. ASUS hasn't confirmed where the device will be arriving or how much it will cost, although we expect a global roll out eventually.
