Earlier this week there were reports that Asus is working on a new smartphone that would be called the ZenFone Selfie and be oriented just how its name suggests. Yes, it would be another smartphone that is looking to piggyback on the selfie trend, which to the rest of us means a solid mid-range handset with a good front facing camera. After those early reports, Asus has now all but confirmed that the ZenFone Selfie is real and that it is incoming.Asus says "a new ZenFone family member" is going to be announced at Computex 2015, which is being held in the company's Taiwan homeland during the first week of June. Asus also said the device will be camera oriented and added, "Illuminate the beauty that's in you through the front camera of the ZenFone --------". The image Asus offered just shows the front facing snapper and not a lot more of the handset, although that front shooter is expected to be a 13 megapixel lens with dual LED flash. In terms of other specs, we are expecting something similar to the normal ZenFone 2, which means a 5.5-inch 720p screen and an Intel processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
