ASUS is planning a new tablet line based off its successful ZenFone line up, with the company working on both a 7-inch and an 8-inch slate. The latter product, the ZenPad 8 has leaked online and will be a solidly spec'd machine, whereas the ZenPad 7 will be more modest. The 8-inch tablet will come with a 4:3 aspect ratio display with 1536 x 2048 resolution, while the smaller slate will come with a 600 x 1024 pixel 7-inch screen. Looking at the image, it seems as though the ZenPad 8 will come with front loaded speakers, while other specs include front and rear cameras, a micro SD slot, and a processor built by Intel. ASUS is expected to raise the curtain on the new pair of tablets are the Computex 2015 trade expo that is held in the company?s home country of Taiwan early in June. The ZenPad's are unlikely to be rolled out until July, with the ZenPad 7 reported to cost $160. The ZenPad 8 will almost certainly be more expensive.
