The Moto X second generation is a solid device, but considering Motorola rolled out the better DROID Turbo and Nexus 6 later it has never felt quite like a true flagship. The next iteration, the 2015 version of the Moto X has the chance to change that by arriving with the best hardware, such as a Quad HD screen and a newer processor/battery etc. The question is will it? Well, it seems yes as the specs for the 2015 Motorola Moto X have apparently leaked. The listed specs in the reports are: Screen: 5.2-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560) Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 RAM: 4GB of RAM Storage: 32GB or 64GB Rear Camera: 16 megapixel with Clear Pixel tech Front Camera: 5 megapixel Platform: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Battery: 3280 mAh Those are the very best specs on the market right now, so we expect the Moto X 3rd generation will be a beast of a smartphone. Hopefully Motorola can hit a home run with the design too, something the company hasn't really done for some time. Arguably the most interesting thing here is the inclusion of a Snapdragon 808, a chipset LG employed in the G4 recently. This is further proof that manufacturers are simply not confident about the Snapdragon 810, and we think Qualcomm is going to be forced into replacing it soon.
