Microsoft's Build conference was held yesterday and there were plenty of big things announced about Windows 10, while the company also revealed what it expects from its mobile division in the coming years. Indeed, Microsoft says that it has huge plans for the universal Windows 10 (which works on multiple form factors) and will sell one billion devices over the next two to three years. That's a huge number and while Microsoft is including tablets and PC's in that, the bulk of that figure is likely to come from smartphones. One Billion devices would put the company's Windows platform alongside mobile heavyweights such as Apple's iOS and Google's Android. Admittedly, to us it seems a hugely optimistic figure considering where Windows Phone currently is.
