Gmail is making its way to the MobileBurn news page, and that is because Google has been updating its Android version of the email app. The upgrade follows a slew of recent updates for the company's main apps on its mobile operating system. The main part of the update brings the ability to unify email from multiple email client accounts into one viewing pane. Called the "All Inboxes" it will make it easier for users to view emails of multiple accounts in one view, while they can also respond to messages from multiple accounts from one page. Google has also set up Conversation View brings threaded conversations to the app, and like All Inboxes it works on multiple email clients like Yahoo!, Outlook, and a range of other IMAP or POP3 services. Other minor new additions include an auto-complete feature that finishes keywords in the search pane or of an intended recipient. There is also a single tap to save function for Google Drive, smoother graphics, and better responsiveness. The update is not quite ready for release on the Google Play Store just yet and in fact Google has not confirmed when it will land, although it will surely be soon. As for the iOS version of Gmail, there is no word on it getting the same update, but Apple's OS typically gets the same upgrades as Android, so the wait shouldn?t be too long.
