The high end variant of the ZenFone 2 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD screen and 4GB of RAM, it is a flagship botherer and like the OnePlus One it is very affordable as well. However, while the device is still young ASUS is already working up on a follow up that will up the spec ante even more and make the ZenFone even more compelling. The Taiwanese company is working on a ZenFone 3 that will come with a fingerprint sensor, that?s according to ASUS' CEO. Jerry Shen said the ZenFone 2 replacement will come at the end of this year, although will probably not go on sale until early 2016. Other specs were not discussed, but a fingerprint scanner would put the ZenFone alongside a range of flagships boasting the feature. Hopefully ASUS can keep the price down too, the current high end ZenFone 2 costs just $320 and was one of the good surprises of the year so far.
