Huawei has announced that the Honor 4X budget smartphone is to be launched in India. The handset was launched back in December as a Chinese exclusive, but following compatriot Xiaomi, Huawei has decided to roll out the device in India too. Chinese companies are aggressively targeting India this year and are making headway in the next major smartphone market. You may remember the Honor 4X as an affordable smartphone that comes with some pretty solid specs. The handset is dubbed by Huawei as "the world's best dual SIM 4G camera phone" and it comes with a 5.5-inch 720p screen, a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a micro SD port, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a selfie quality 5 megapixel front facer. As Huawei's billing suggests, the Honor 4X also comes with LTE connectivity and Dual SIM capabilities. Not a bad package for a price of $168. It is still unclear if this handset will make it to other markets, although Huawei said this year it will start selling smartphones in the United States.
