HTC held an even yesterday and the company's Americas president, Jason Mackenzie, detailed when the One M9 flagship will be launching in the United States, and indeed all of North and South America. He revealed that the handset will be rolling out on April 10th, meaning only three more weeks to wait for consumers in those regions who want to get their hands on the One M9.However, perhaps you will have to wait a little longer because Mackenzie pointed out that while HTC will adhere to the April 10th launch, carriers may not. He said depending on inventory schedules, carriers will choose when they will individually launch the One M9 after the 10th. That is a familiar scenario of course, which means that you may see the One M9 on Verizon before it comes to T-Mobile for example. None of the big four carriers in the United States (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile) have yet to announce specifically when they will roll out the One M9, but it is likely to land on all the carriers throughout April. HTC did not comment on the recent software issue that delayed the One M9 launch in Taiwan, but it is thought the problem will be dealt with before the device arrives in the Americas.
