Xiaomi had some new for its Mi Note range today as the basic Mi Note received a Natural Bamboo Edition, something that is likely to find its way to the flagship Mi Note Pro. However, the Chinese company may have even bigger news around the corner as Xiaomi is allegedly working on a new smartphone for the Mi Note line up.The handset in question is called the Mi Note Plus and it has recently passed through Geekbench for a benchmark, while there have been numerous leaks in China. It seems that that Mi Note Plus is identical to the Mi Note Pro in terms of specs, as it will supposedly come with a 1440 x 2560 Quad HD screen, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 4GB of RAM, and a 13 megapixel camera. It is unclear whether the design will be different, but as this is landing in the Mi Note range I expect that the Plus will look very similar to the regular Mi Note and the Note Pro. So then, what will the difference be? The only thing I can guess is a larger screen size, maybe a true flagship device for Sony to take on Samsung's Galaxy Note 4.
