There have been plenty of rumors that Meizu and Nokia are working together. It was initially thought that the companies are making a smartphone, both denied it and confirmed that Nokia could be involved in Meizu's future smartphone cameras. However, the rumor that the brands are collaborating on a smartphone has returned, with a bit more information in tow.It was thought at first that Meizu would re-brand its MX4 flagship for European consumers with the Nokia name on the back. However, Meizu denied it by saying that the company is too busy working on its own devices to be focusing on other handsets. The rumor is back again, but it seems that Nokia will not be able to put its name to the device after-all, due to the company's deal with Microsoft. That means the Finnish company will select the hardware, software, and colors, while using Meizu's design. It is a similar situation to Nokia's N9 tablet. The rumor is doing the rounds in China once again, but we are still a little sceptical. It seems apparent that Nokia and Meizu are working on something, what exactly that is remains to be seen.
