Lenovo didn't just announce the impressive Vibe Shot today at MWC, the Chinese heavyweight also revealed an entry level device in the form of the A7000. However, while this handset has a humble price point, it is actually loaded with some decent specs, while it is also bringing a market first along for the ride. The Lenovo A7000 is the first smartphone to come with Dolby ATMOS. Ok, we get it, you may not even know what that is, but to cut a long story short it is audio king Dolby?s latest mobile surround sound system. Lenovo says:
Users will immediately hear the Dolby Atmos difference using headphones: sounds of people, places, things, and music become more vivid and move from all directions, including overhead, with astonishing clarity, richness and depth. Voices and noises have a broader range from highs to lows, with the greatest subtlety. The technology also makes playback volume more consistent across all types of content.Other specs are respectable and include a MediaTek octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM, a 5.5-ich 720p screen, dual SIM capabilities, 8GB of storage, micro SD support, LTE, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front facing shooter, and a 2900 mAh juicer. Lenovo says the A7000 will be arriving this month in all regions, and it will carry a rather appealing $170 retail price.
