Sony kept its flagship Xperia Z4 smartphone for another day and opted not to announce it at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. However, the Japanese company did have a new handset to show off in the form of the Xperia M4 Aqua, a mid-range device that gets a lot right, including some very slick aesthetics. The handset will be Sony's mid-range effort for 2015, and as the name suggests it comes with the company's now familiar waterproofing. That means it can be dunked into depths of up to 1.5 meters and last for 30 minutes. However, there is more to the Xperia M4 Aqua than that, including a very pleasing design and some solid specs. It comes with a 5.2-inch 720p screen, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop, a 13 megapixel snapper around back, and a 5 megapixel selfie quality lend on the front. With its premium looking design and respectable specs, the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is an enticing prospect, especially as it will cost $335 when it launches in 80 countries this spring.
